Bubscare (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a private, offline child health organizer for parents and caregivers. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Bubscare.
1. Summary
- Bubscare does not require an account or login.
- Bubscare does not sync your data to our servers.
- Child health data you enter is stored only on your device.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that collect personal data for us.
- Data leaves your device only when you export or share it.
2. Who this policy covers
Bubscare is intended for adults (parents/caregivers) managing information about children. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for obtaining any consent required under local law to store a child’s health-related information on your device.
3. Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the App, Bubscare may store the following categories of information locally on your phone or tablet:
- Child profiles — for example name/display name, birth date, preterm adjustment, photos you choose to add, and related profile settings.
- Vaccination records — schedules you select or create, dose timelines, dates given, notes, and optional vaccine preferences.
- Growth measurements — weight, length/height, head circumference, dates, and related notes.
- Doctor visits & care contacts — appointments, visit notes, questions, doctor/clinic details you enter.
- App preferences — such as reminder settings, privacy acknowledgment, language/locale preferences, and premium entitlement flags stored locally.
- Backups you create — temporary export files (CSV, JSON, PDF) created when you use Export & Backup or share a report.
This information is stored in on-device databases and local storage (including SQLite and platform local storage). It is protected by your device’s operating-system security features (such as device passcode, biometrics, and OS file protection), subject to your device settings.
4. Information we collect on our servers
We do not operate a Bubscare cloud backend for storing your child health data. In normal use, we do not receive, host, or process your child profiles, vaccination history, growth data, or visit notes on Quills servers.
If you contact us by email or another support channel, we will receive the contact details and message content you choose to send so we can respond.
5. How the App uses information on your device
On-device data is used only to provide App features, including to:
- Display dashboards, timelines, charts, and visit history
- Calculate schedule status and reminder timing locally
- Schedule local notifications on your device
- Generate exports and doctor-ready summaries when you request them
- Restore a backup you deliberately import
6. Sharing and third parties
Bubscare does not share your on-device child health data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or data brokerage.
Data may leave your device only when you take an explicit action, such as:
- Using the system Share sheet to send an export, PDF, or message
- Saving or opening a backup file with another app you choose
- Importing a backup from a file you select
Once you share a file with another app, service, or person, that destination’s own privacy practices apply. We cannot control what happens to files after you share them.
Apple, Google, and your device OS may process limited technical information related to App Store distribution, crash diagnostics you opt into at the OS level, or purchase processing. Those platforms act under their own privacy policies.
7. Notifications
If you enable reminders, Bubscare schedules local notifications on your device (for example vaccine or visit reminders). Notification content is generated and stored locally. You can disable notifications in the App and/or in your device system settings.
8. Purchases (if Premium is offered)
If you purchase optional Premium features, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. A local entitlement flag may be stored on your device so Premium features unlock. Purchase records are also governed by Apple’s or Google’s privacy policies.
9. Children’s privacy
Bubscare is not directed at children as primary users. It is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information on our servers. Child-related information entered into the App remains on the caregiver’s device unless the caregiver exports or shares it.
10. Data retention and deletion
- Data remains on your device until you delete it in the App, clear App data, or uninstall Bubscare.
- Uninstalling Bubscare typically deletes on-device App data, subject to OS behavior and any backups you previously exported outside the App.
- Exported files you saved to Files, email, cloud drives, or other apps are under your control and are not deleted by uninstalling Bubscare.
11. International users
Because Bubscare stores data locally on your device, processing generally occurs on that device in the location where you use it. If you contact us for support, your message may be processed where our support team operates.
12. Medical disclaimer
Bubscare is an organizational and reference tool only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional pediatric care. Always confirm vaccines, measurements, and health decisions with a qualified healthcare professional.
13. Security
We design Bubscare to keep sensitive information on-device and offline by default. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure. You can help protect your data by using a device passcode/biometrics, keeping your OS updated, and being careful when exporting or sharing files.
14. Your choices
- Use the App without creating an account
- Decide what information to enter
- Enable or disable reminders
- Export, share, or restore backups only when you choose
- Delete child data in-app or uninstall the App
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Bubscare after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy. Material changes may also be noted in an App Store / Play Store release note when appropriate.

17. Region-specific notes
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California). Because we do not maintain a cloud copy of your Bubscare child health data, the primary way to access, export, or delete that data is through the App on your device (or by deleting the App). For support requests or privacy inquiries, contact us using the email above.
